Thursday Fun: Percy Street BBQ, Sunshine Arts, Lotus Farm to Table ...

This Thursday brings a slew of fun events all around the region. Erin O?Shea, Michael Solomonov and Steve Cook are celebrating the third anniversary of Percy Street Barbecue with a birthday bash. Joining the best craft can beer bar in the country will be Oskar Blues, craft can pioneer, which is also celebrating its 10th year. From 5 PM-close at the South Street BBQ joint, happy hour specials will be in effect, including $3 Oskar Blues beers and half-price snacks. Special barrel-aged brews will be tapped, live blues music will play and at 9 PM there will be complimentary birthday cake and party favors for all.

Upper Darby community arts center Sunshine Arts is going all out for its fall fund-raiser. Held on Boathouse Row, the event will feature a VIP wine tasting with Kanella chef Konstantinos Pitsillides at 5:30 PM, followed by a 6:30 PM main event featuring Kanella?s Cypriot food, live music, drinks and a silent auction. Tickets are available online for $50 or $125 for VIP.

In Media, Lotus Farm to Table is hosting a beer dinner that pairs food from chef Ryan Sulikowski with beer from local brewery Neshaminy Creek. Four courses include eats such as maple-bacon salad, chicken confit sliders, lamb ribs and a smoked banana bread pudding. Seats are $60 per person and are available by calling 610-565-5554.
