? I?m embarrassed to say i?ve only been to Drink Better Wine?three times, which is bizaare given we live just around the corner! So last week when a friend who use to bartend?for the venue suggest we go there, we put our hands up and said hell yes! Drink Better Wine is a bottle shop and a restaurant; meaning you won?t find a triple mark up on wine here, no siry you can buy wine at bottle shop prices and then drink it in their restaurant! Awesome concept right?! Now do you understand why it?s embarrassing that I?ve hardly been there?this must change!
Now onto the most important part, the food! Head Chef Josh Cook returned from a two and a half year stint working on luxury yachts in the South France to work at Drink Better Wine. I didn?t phone ahead and tell the restaurant I was vegan, I just rocked up and hoped for the best and you know what?The food was?all types of?good!

Josh made a few changes to the Three Mushroom Risotto to make it vegan and for dessert he made Candied Fruit?which wasn?t on the menu. I have been to many restaurants which are double the price don?t make this type of effort even if you phone ahead! If you can?t tell my over use of exclamation marks!!! I?loved?the whole experience! Go to Drink Better Wine for?fantastic food and wine with a reasonable price tag.
